Default 996TT or 335i coupe

Which car would you guys pick? If you have a light modded 996TT and its factory warrenty expire in about 3 months would you take the Porsche to BMW dealer and trade it in for a brand new 335 coupe? I don't think it is a step down or anything wrong but just wondering what everyone thinks...

That is a HUGE step down. Not even worthy of discussion in my book. 335 is nice, but to compare to a 996TT? I understand the issue with the warranty but what is the real reason for the step down as surely it is not just the warranty. If you are looking for a 4 door then I suppose I could relate to that line of reasoning. But, this is your call as it is your money and not ours. It all depends on your priorities which varies from person to person.

No real reasons... the truth is 335 is a more practical car and modded TT is not. the TT has about 37k miles now with warrenty about to expire, before the TT value drop even more picking up a brand new 335 coupe with just about Zero out of pocket cost(I hope) might be nice

Well an out of warranty 996TT is gonna be expen$ive if you drive it a fair bit, vs. a new 335i!

Both fun cars no doubt. The 996TT being way faster and more fun to drive.

You might as well buy a Yaris, the 335i is such a step down from the 996TT it shouldn't even be discussed

the reality is that a Brand New Fully Loaded 335i might cost more than a used 996TT

if maintenance is a real issue for you, then you do what you gotta do

but otherwise, it is a BIG step down from 996 tt to 335i no matter how you see it. one if top of the line porsche. one is close to entry level bmw.

996tt for me any day

Tell you what, wait 3 years and I will happily trade you a depreciated 335 for your 996TT.

haha so true the 335 probably worth less than the 996 in 3 years... I think by then I can probably take that to Honda dealer and trade that in for a Civic and pay no money
