Yaris. Who knew?

But in all honestly, we all know econoboxes with safety items as options are higher risk for injuries. High center of gravity trucks/SUVs also are plain unsafe due to rollover risk (although some of those mentioned have really horrible front and side impact ratings).

I remembered the article stating the maxima was bad too, but not top 20 bad then.
Most of the econoboxes are in there....hmmm, didn't see corolla, but the matrix was there.

No VW's, Audi's, Lexus's or Porsche's, looks like I'm good.

I had trouble downloading the article. Is the Mustang on the list? If not, then I don't know why....in my lifetime, I've seen Mustangs kill more people (mostly teens and young adults drag-racing or doing other dangerous things) than any other single vehicle I can think of.

But, of course, that is not necessarily the car.....that is reckless and immature drivers.

Though they don't have the reliability of the LS, if it's safety you want, get a big S-Class Mercedes or a Volvo S80.

no thanks, my LS (same basic chassis at least, tho fewer airbags in the older car) saved my *** once already

Man, what a sensational title to that article. Isn't more accurate to say "The 20 Least Safe Vehicles" instead "the the 20 most dangerous"?
