So I was walking my dog in Brentwood, and I hear this reallllly loud crash / metal bending sound. Before I got to the end of my block, the cops were already there. This woman in a Mercedes E class was hauling *** on Bundy drive (20 yards from where the Nicole Brown Simpson murder was) and crashed into a curb, then a wall, then flipped into a palm tree and a parked car!
I have 5 pictures: UPDATE -
from a distance (you can see the wall it hit, then the grass, THEN the tree!):

Does anoyone else know this intersection in Brentwood (Bundy Dr. and Darlington Ave.)? I still can't figure out how she could have been going so fast! It's a curvy residential street around houses and apartments. I wonder if they gave her a ticket too?

Wow, that was a nice one.......... I feel for her (and the car)
She should feel lucky that the underside of the car is the part that is up against the tree. If it had been the roof, it looks like her head would have right at the point of impact.
Yea totally. It's hard to tell from the pics, but the car hit the underside so hard that the car bent around it and the left doors buckled out. If they had gone in, she would have been toast.
On the stretcher, she was coherent---just complained about back and neck pain. Imagine if she was in a Yaris or somethin?
It could have been, but this was around noon... and she was like a 50-year-old Persian woman... some were thinking maybe she had a heart attack or confused the gas/brake or something.
