Leasing a 335i coupe conv.
How much does everyone think a 335i coupe conv. would be with $2500 down, 15k/year, 36 months....??? Whats my chances for getting it at < $600???
Thinkin of tradin the 250 in but don't know if I can afford it....

The E46 M3 was about 50k and the conv was about 10k more, I never understood it but BMW felt the need to put every option on the droptop, so I would just option out a loaded 335 and then add about 10k
Like some have said, it depends a lot on options you get. But beware they are supposedly back-ordered and even with $2500 down paying less than $600/mo might be hard to come by. My friend recently purchased a 328i convertible with pretty much everythig it came out to about $53,400. Lease payments, had she of leased would have been about $7XX/mo with $5000 down I think it was. This was also for only 12k/miles. She did a traditional finance instead though...

Coupes are ordered, verts are backordered. So if you want one, your best bet is European Delivery since:
1. You are going to have to wait anyways.
2. You won't get a discount if they are backordered. You WILL get a discount with European Delivery. Your savings will be at least $5,000 (MSRP vs. $1000-1200 over European Invoice).

The money factor on the 335i convertibles is pretty bad - .00320 if I recall correctly.
It's about half that for the hard tops.
I think you're going to have a hard time getting that kind of deal on the 335i convertible unless you do Euro delivery, partly because of that money factor, and partly because it's going to be pretty tough to bargain on one at the moment.
If you can be happy with a 335i sedan you can get one for MUCH less - about 500/month with zero down, 24 months, and 15k miles a year if you go easy on the options.

IS350 (with nav, ML, loaded) for cheaper than the 335i without nav, sterio upgrade heated seats. aparently BMW is not interested in the creature comforts. Salesman said it takes away fom the sportyness of the car......yea right. Just my opinion though
I almost leased a 335i too, I ended up geting a way better deal buying an

But for leasing, the IS has terrible rates and the 3-series has industry-leading rates, so since I'm of the mindset that I want a new car every couple of years anyway, then I'm far better off leasing a 3-series then I would be buying or leasing an IS.
The creature comforts of the IS are nicer, but the driving experience of the 335i is far better. It's a tradeoff - I guess it just depends on your priorities as to which you want more. Neither car is *that* bad in the other regard though. The IS350 still has enjoyable driving dynamics and the 335i still has plenty of luxury touches.
If I was buying a car, I'd probably get the IS350 as well since it has better reliability and pricing is a little more reasonable for buyers.
