wow, if that's really the pricing, it's surprising "cheap" imho since it's very much like the pricing of the e46 which is 6 cylinders. i'd be very impressed, especially seeing the price difference between the e39 m5 and the new one

Highly doubt it, Supra engine was bulletproof, and BMW engines aren't known to be durable.

I think that the M3 is more than just badging and a V8 though. I think it has a lot more engineering and what not than a 335i...

80% of the parts on the 335 are different than the M3
