Expect V8 magic when BMW unveils its E90-series M3, though that won’t happen until 2007. We hear BMW plans 400-plus hp transmitted through a seven-speed sequential manual gearbox. BMW will offer a six-speed manual and possibly an automatic as an option. We also hear rumblings of the return of the four-door M3—absent from the E46 range—to complement the coupe and convertible lineup.

I think its the 3 series, turbo version. Look at the FMIC in the grill there. Also, M3's ALWAYS have dual exhaust with dual tips. That is just dual exhaust single tip, with the bumper cutout also for singlle tip only. Also, I don't see the standard M3 side vents in the fender, but they could just be covered up, although I thought they were functional. Could just be a regular 3 series also, with that FMIC looking thing being just a long and low set radiator.

M3's don't ALWAYS have quad exhaust pipes. The current M3 was the first one to receive that treatment.
