I would never let a "u" wash my car. But "I" wash my car about once every 2-3 weeks, mainly because the wheels get caked with brake dust. The cars just don't get very dirty in FL.

I don't know where you ^ live in FL, but where I live we have so much construction up there, you're car is bound to get dirty a day or 2 after washing it.

My RX gets a lot more dirty in Mexico City than back home in Florida. However, it depends a lot on the color. My burgundy 325ic would hardly ever get dirty and that went for our two XJ6s, but our blue Honda Accord utility car always seemed to get dirty.

Down here, it gets the wash once a week. I don't wax it.

I have a curse where everytime I wash and wax it, it rains the next day.

My Audi has received a hand wash and wax all of once in its life because I wanted to see how good it COULD look. Other than that, the only thing it receives is a $1 touch less car wash ($3 - $2 when you fill up with 8 gallons or more) when it gets filled up at the station near my house. It's so cheap and easy to do it that way, and it's not my car (it's a lease), so hey... why not.

My 4runner, we own, so I take better care of it. It receives that same $1 touch less car wash when it gets filled up at the station near the house, but it also gets a full detailing about once every 3-4 months. Just enough to keep it clean and protected from the elements. I used zaino which lasts way longer than 3-4 months, meaning it's never without wax.

Washed once a week (usually) and waxed about once a month... both done by me.

With good weather in Southern California I wash maybe once every or every other week. Wax whenever it needs it. I keep my cars pretty meticulous but silver and like cars are pretty easy to take care of.

I used to wash mine every two weeks, since my car didn't get very dirty most of the time in FL. Now...well, lets just say I don't remember the last time I washed my car. Unless I take a highway trip (= lots of bugs) the rain does a pretty good job of keeping my car clean.

It was fun with my foam gun. Though it sucked last time because I sprayed my car with foam and next thing I knew, the sun came out

It's 95 degrees outside right now. I think i'm gonna go outside to do some polishing

Usually I wash the Lexus when it gets dirty enough and I have the time. Usually around 2-3 weeks depending on the weather. And of course, hand wash only......

Detail/wax is different. That might be twice or 3x a year. I really cannot spend an entire day doing stuff like this since my parents already think I spend too much time on cars.

I used to wash twice a week, then it turned to once a week, now its once for every 2 or 3 weeks since the car is just sitting there.
