I own an older '08 Fit and think it looks much better than this new Mazda2.
I like the steering wheel controls on the Mazda 2 though. My fit only has
cruise control buttons

Actually, Europe got it around 2-3 years ago, long before we did.

I assume GS69's post is news about the next model? A redesign isn't due for another 3 years or so, so I'm not sure what it's really talking about.

The current Mazda 2 has underwhelming fuel efficiency especially for the weakest engine in the US (outside of Smart). And the 2 is among the smallest. It gets 27/33 for the auto, 29/35 for the manual (more respectful).

70 mpg? NEVER going to happen for the next Mazda2. I'll even say that they'll never achieve over 45 mpg (for the next gen).
