They alot of surprises in there I thought. I mean the SRT-8 series from Dodge is number #8? I think its funny that the GT500 is #10 tied with the Jepp SRT-8, ha, its awsome. Forbes said your just as good if you buy a Jeep then if you buy Fords closest thing to a supercar. I'm a huge GM fan and this just helps my case, I mean the Base C6 can keep up with the GT500 performence wise and cost the same and then Forbes puts it at #10. I love it.
For those who don't know, the Ford GT is no longer in production.

That list is way off......a SL65/CL65/S65 would blaze half of those cars.

155 MPH is the magic number. Even the BMW M6 is electronically limited to 155 MPH although you can buy chip upgrades that remove the limiter.

I suspect without the 155 MPH limitation, your insurance would at least triple. Most insurance companies won't insure cars in certain categories, top speed being one of them.

The page says "Americas Fastests Cars". Either way, I could name about 7 other cars that should be on this list instead of the ones listed here.

A guy brought a SRT-8 Cherokee to our SELOC track meet. I believe he was doing high 12s/low 13s in the 1/4.

The thing flies!

I kinda disagree either way with that list about, Hottest, or Fastest. I guess Hottest or Fastest is a " Relative " Term.

"Hot" is all relative.

I mean, if Toyota sells 1200 Camries a day in the U.S. alone, wouldn't that be considered a "hot" buy?!? I mean, it does "sell like hotcakes."

OK, I think you all missed the whole AMERICAN part. Did you all notice every car on the list is made in the U.S.A.? I think its a good list. I mean I don't think the STS-V would be in a world wide list of fastest/hottest cars.

Whoops!

I thought "sold" in America, not "made" in America...
