Default Finally!

The GS is gone and today I picked up a little something something...

2006 350z

Base Model, silver, stick.

I got tired of the big GS and the body roll and I finally got me something sporty

(ill post pics asap)

wow nice. Ive been thinking about making a switch to a real sport-oriented car. My GS, even though I have suspension mods, is still sloppy at handling and it's scary pushing it to the edge.

The nissan 350z is a great performer. Just wait until you add some nice coilovers

Check and see if your car was one of the ones recalled by Nissan for bad suspension and alignment settings at the factory....this was causing a lot of road noise from prematurely chewing up tires. Nissan was redoing some of the settings and giving people free new tires.....but I think that by 2006 most of the problems had been corrected.

You will indeed, as you indicate in an earlier post, have crisper handling and less body roll with the Z than with the GS, but the trade-off is going to be a harsher ride. Try to keep your car on smooth roads whenever possible.

Very nice car!

Im pretty sure that the tire feathering issue causes by alignment and suspension was fixed by the the time most of the '05s came out, mid-late production ones.

Just out of curiosity, how come you didnt wait for the '07 with the new VQHR?
