e92 M3 test car caught racing against E46 M3 !
I don't think I've ever seen a testcar purposely racing another car

Not out. Seems like they musta been testing for a mag or something? They said there was a hardtop, vert, and a new X5.
Edit: the hardtop vert was a 335i, which is also not out (the hardtop that is), so ya, someone had some mules.

yah i was talking the driver and he said there are 4 drivers, hence there are 4 testmules out the 335 conv, x5, m3, and x3.
these 4 drivers switch on a random basis, and they have bmw credit cards for gas and food. he said he had driving been from van nuys and parthenia and we ended up at the commons. and he still had to drive to santa barbera and back.
the driver was really cool, talked to him for about half an hour when we pulled over. the only thing he said i wasnt allowed to see was the steering wheel and the guages, when he got out of the car he covered them with a custom cover.
this one right here was a 6 speed, he stated that the car moves at any rpm, extreme torque. i still cant get over the fact how wide it was and large the diffuser was on this thing. the headlights also look extremely sharp like a shark or something.
