LORCH, Germany — Coachbuilder Binz already has prepared an extended version of the face-lifted Mercedes-Benz E-Class for the limousine and hearse trade.
New features include the Mercedes Pre-Safe system and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Binz fits heavy-duty axles and suspension components while it retains all the E-Class safety systems, from antilock brakes to electronic stability control, recalibrating them to account for the additional weight and the longer wheelbase.
Prices in Europe for the six-door E-Class limo start at around $130,000.
What this means to you: The safest hearses in the business. And perhaps the best-looking, too.

Even in death, I wouldn't be caught in a Benz...
Honestly, there's a market for it. Might as well spend big bucks on it because the family is getting inheritance from the deceased. Mourn the death and get it done and over with as quickly and elegantly as possible.
