Exclamation Question. What does BMW have planned for the 760?

I have heard nothing. I know they won't just let Benz and Audi have more powerful V-12s...The new 750 I think is almost as quick?

Just wondering, I am surprised they went this long without firing another shot at Audi and Benz with the V-12 7....

i read in one of my magazines..either Automobile or Motor Trend that a V12 760 is in the works...but I have no idea what happened to it, or it's just that it hasn't made it over the Atlantic yet. Motor Trend (or Automobile...-. -) did say the 760 really wasn't going to be worth the extra bundles of cash in the performance department though...

(that's about as far as i know)

The 760 is a V12.
The 760i (short wheel base) was dropped for 2007 (only Michael Jordan bought one ). The long wheelbase continues on however.

Won't work. Those babies do not develop their torque until higher up in the RPM. Ruins the cruising aspect of the car (IMHO).

Also, while I'd love to see a M7, there is no place for the gearshift

Isn't the supercharged V8 B7 Alpina coming out (or already out in the euro market) soon? BMW has said over and over again there will not be a M7.

I love BMW and all but something really sets me away from that car

BMW never considered the 7 to be a track car, therefore will never make an M7

This is correct. Also why the X5 never got a M badge.

BMW's are too ugly to have powerful engines.
