There was a brief version of a Lexus minivan, the Lexus Estima, that I remember was a slightly improved Toyota Estima minivan, looked similar to the Previa, but not sure what ever happened to that concept.
Boo!!! Even the LS600hL isn't getting TWO reclining rear seats with foot rests (the LS600hL has only a "leg rest" not "foot rest", BTW). How dare they put them on a Toyota minivan. Another example of those darn Japanese leaving the best to themselves.
In Japan or many asian countries, it isn't all that uncommon to have a private driver assigned through the company or privately. So in that kind of setting, it makes sense. But here, in the states, unless you will be in the back seat all day, this is pretty pointless for our market.

Um...can't the same be said about any long-wheel-based luxury sedans? Are the LS460L, S-Class, 750Li, Maybach 62, Phantom LWB, any stretched limo, etc., just as pointless?
Rest assured that there is always a market for back seat riders...even in the US.
