Default speeding ticket......

i got a ticket for 90 in a 65, i have looked everywhere and cant find where it lists the price for that speed btw this happened in sugar land tx. i do know that since its 25 miles over the speed limit that i cant do defensive driving......does anyone know the price or where to find it? also if i want to just pay the ticket do i still have to appear in court?

ouch man! sorry to hear that =(.. maybe its time to invest in a radar detector?

here in Cali .. i think the inital stop is $50.... and for every mile over the speed limit is $5 dollars...

so for your case.. if u were in cali..... $50 + 25*$5 = $175

I hear Virginia is really strict on all of their speeding tickets and laws.... You can't even run a radar detector there can you? I know in FL 25 over the limit would be about $200ish.

Default Damn

that sucks. I got pulled over today doing about 90 in a 45. I overtook an undercover cop in a two lane rd and I got away with just a warning. I guess today was just my lucky day. Sorry about your luck though....

The price of my 110 in a 55 in Texas was about $225....in 1986. I took defensive driving class for it, class was half-day at Sears $50.

I'd be in jail if county or state pulled me over for that speed. I'd be HAPPY with a ticket. I'd give a kidney for just a warning. Okay... maybe not a kidney.

Cheers,
Kermee

140 in a 65 on 417 a couple years ago. Took the class and only had to pay like $220ish. No points either. I lucked out.

Nope, they actually even have detectors for radar detectors. That's our tax dollars at work . Our guys do really stick it to you. 20 years ago, I used to hear about cops knocking mph down to keep it from being reckless, those days are gone! They will nail you to the wall! They could actually take your license on the spot and put you in jail for 90 in 65. Skorpio, you'd be in solitary
