Default Which US car would you drive.

IF the US put a law out in 1970 banning all imports what domestic brand car would you drive Chevy, Ford, GMC, Dodge or Chrysler. Besides the Vettes, Escalades, Vipers Supped up Mustangs which car would you drive? My choice would be the Cadillac sts

I can go for the Dodge Charger SRT8. If you want an American muscle car, I guess this fits the bill...

I was VERY close to buying the GTO.... A lot of people critisized the looks of the car, but I found it very attractive. Lack of standard as well as optional equiptment is what turned me off... Other than the hood scoop delete and automatic/manual tranny, there was nothing else you could get for the car. If it had a nav option, i'd be rolling in one today.

Dodge Magnum or 300C.

These are the only 2 cars I've even remotely considered getting in my 16 years of driving.

Again, with today's global auto economy, there is no real such thing anymore as an " American " car per se, but assuming you mean an American NAMEPLATE, depending on my budget, it would be one of three vehicles....the Cadillac STS ( especially an AWD version ), an AWD Ford Five Hundred / Mercury Montego, or the Lincoln Zephyr. ( I like the 300C / Magnum / Charger but find the interiors and the fit-and-finish too cheap )

STS-V. The one big problem that I have with American automobiles is their interiors.

I'd buy an Accord. It's American.
