I'm hoping the redesign will bring a substantial update to the Highlander's *boring* exterior. My dad will be in the market for midsize SUV in a year or so, and he seems to be leaning toward the Korean offerings.
It's funny how Toyota labels it as an "All-New" 2006 Highlander Sport.
Come on, Toyota. Exactly who do you think is going to buy this "sport" thingy, when a truly all-new RAV4 with the new 3.5L V6 not only performs sporty but actually looks sporty, with also a 3rd-row seat to boot?
By abusing the "Sport" badge like this they're ruining the sporty image of the brand even further.

Lower it, make it a 5 or 6 speed, some bigger fender flares, and some SERIOUSLY wider wheels. Then add about 50 hp... THEN and ONLY THEN can you call it "sport."
It has a sportier looking exterior for the women buying it thats all they really need. I just found it interesting that it has anavailable sport suspension.
