US companies should axe lots of cars, but keep: PT Cruiser, Solstice, Sky, Vette, F series trucks, Silvarados, Yukons, Explorers, Mustangs. Wipe all the others off the planet, close those plants profit.

 

Over the last 7 months I 've taken about 10 trips to northern fl and used rental vehicles on all the trips. This weekend I rented the newest Impala. It was fully loaded except for having cloth seats. The interior ergonomics were terrible. They have a center radio control **** a la faux Idrive. I thought it looked and felt ridiculous. The dash layout was terrible. The faux wood looked okay but could have been designed better. The seats were the absolutely worst I have ever ridden in. My body was sore all over. Even my wife who is slim was sore after riding in this thing all day. The steering was disconnected from the road but not terribly so. Car rode pretty smooth. I can live with the exterior looks, also. Bottom line.....I can see why GM is in trouble. I can't imagine anyone spending hard earned money on this car. Not after sitting in a similarly priced import.
