The MDX is ridicolusly better than RX330, power, size, drivetrain, suspension and utility wise, but the RX looks better and has considerably better interior.

I test drove the MDX just before I bought my RX300. They had a waiting list at the time. It drove like a tank (a lot of weight), but other than that it did not seem that bad of an SUV. I took a test drive of an MDX down here at the new Acura dealership we have in my neighborhood here and drove a little bit different than before. They seem slow up here but then again that is the elevation.

I am sure that is why the RX created the segment, is the sales leader and reliability leader.

Both are great SUVs but well a RX is a Lexus, nuff said, which is also sold in EUROPE while the MDX is for us only, that is why its as wide as an 18 wheeler.

That and the trooper has chrome mirrors and SLX has color keyed.

The SLX and Trooper are so remarkably similar its sinful. I mean, At least when Lexus made the LX450 out of the landcruiser, they not only took some efforts to make it look a bit more different, but they also took measures to make it more luxurious, softer suspension, more cabin insulation and sound deadening, etc. I dont think Acura did ANYTHING to the trooper except the mirrors, grill, and wheels.
