Lexus in Kernerville, NC, they were just good ol' boys . Friendly , had carolina Bar-B-Que at the New IS introduction party, great time. Even the sales people at the Mercedes dealership in Roanoke Va, were very gracious,,,,,, even though we drove a Jeep onto the lot with a 4 inch lift

You are sooooo right about northerners! I am moving down south.

I was at the USED Lexus lot which is a separate building from the new car lot. Nobody really came and helped me, so I had to go in and ask about where the car I was interested in was parked. They found a salesman to help me and didn't really take me seriously at first. He asked what I drove currently, and from the second I told him "I have a SC300... 5spd... but I'm turboing it and making it a show car, so I need a daily driver" he totally changed his attitude. I bought the car later that day after a lot of negotiating, and I've brought the guy several customers since then. He sent me $50 AmericanExpress gift cards thanking me for my business, and was the first to call and wish me a happy birthday several months later.

Also, when I brought some friends by another day the sales manager came out and shook my hand and thanked me for my business. He then arranged it so a few salesmen could pull up cars my friends may be interseted in, so we didn't have to go walking around the lot in the cold.

My dealer was and still very friendly. I got my 98 in 2000, and would buy from them again.
