Default Feedback with Longo Lexus?

They have the car we want coming in in the next shipment, and have asked for a $500 deposit if we want to reserve it.

Are there any Longo buyers that have any positive or negative feeling about this dealership?

I called/emailed 4 different places that I thought were in driving distance of me, and so far, they are the only ones with a car in my specs. I still have not heard back from Glendale though....we'll see what Peter digs up.

Thanks

Default Ok

They have the models because they are "Elite of Lexus". This gives them choice models and delivery dates. Kind of a self-fulfilling prophesy. If you do good, you get Elite, and if you are Elite, you get more customers, etc.

I have given them $500 deposits in the past.

We're working with Longo, Santa Monica Lexus and Glendale. I've heard many good things about Longo. Nothing about Santa Monica. And mixed with Glendale. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

Working with Jack Chen at Longo. I'd recommend Longo or Cerritos.

I've had a very positive experience with Longo. We worked directly with the internet sales department. It was completely hassle free. The person we worked with was Jim Brown.

We received several quotes at the time and Longo's internet price was the best one. It made for a very hassle free experience. If we wanted, I'm sure we could have gone back and forth with other dealers to get a similar price but we didn't feel like it was worth the hassle.

From what I've experienced, the internet sales department will give you their (internet group's) best price up front. It may not be the best possible price, but you get it without a lot of teeth pulling. If you want to haggle, and don't mind the going back and forth between the salesman and sales manager, then buying the traditional way is the better way to go.

At the least you can take the best price quoted via the internet sales dept. and use that as a negotiating point with another dealer through the traditional method.

it's funny how they always ask you to get the other dealer's quote and they'll beat it...

but which dealer will give you a written quote???

so i ask them,.. how much are you going to beat it?? 30 dollars?? 50 dollars?? 100 dollars???

if it's not beat from 500 to a 1000 than what's the point??

Hmm....Now I don't know what to think..........I was told that they would not really move on the price, as the car was very popular.

the Red w/black interior and Nav........Thought they'd be a dime a dozen and I would be able to at least get $1k off.......maybe I should make a few more calls.
