95 SC 400 v. 99 LX 470

I am considering parting with my 95 SC 400 and getting a 99 LX 470. What do you think? How much is the SUV worth? It takes regular unleaded instead of premium, correct?
I wish I could have both but the budget won't allow.

Suggestions? thx

The only Lexus cars that take regular are the ES and the RX, at least the 300 I know does, not sure about the 330 but I'd assume its the same.

what's gas mileage for 99 LX? approx?

i believe a lil less then the sc400. the lx470 is worth more man. get that. and u got awd. i would get the lx. u get about 14mpg city/hwy combined. wait are u looking for a daily driver? if so i would stay away from both they will suck gas like no other.

The SC400 consistenly gets higher milage than the SC300 from what I've heard. So just keep that in mind.

Not bad at all. Just filled up the SC400 with premium last night and it came out to $62.00

Sounds like the tanks are about the same size. I filled up 17 gallons by the way. I think the SC tank is 20. something gallons.

the LX470 tank should be in the neighborhood of 25 gallons..probably more.

my land cruiser (previous gen 4.5 liter i-6) has a 25 gallon tank, with the light coming on at 5 gallons left.

At that particular fill up it was $3.599 for the premium fuel. Total gallons put was exactly 17.227 and my gas light just started to flicker on and off. I believe the SC gas light comes on with about 3 gallons left which is pretty much exacty my situation. I went 372 miles so that is about 21.59 miles per gallon. That is very typical of my miles per gallon. I'm always between 21-22 miles per gallon.
