Here's the replacement for the JDM Toyota Chaser...it's now called the Verossa (JZX110)...

That one's gonna have to grow on me some. Front view makes me want to hurl, sort of porcine in appearance. Rear three quarter view looks best, but greenhouse looks like somebody dropped the thing upside down and mashed it a bit. :eek:

They should of called this car VerGROSSA.. Sheesh what a ugly looking car.. The only part I like on this car is the rear view.. Thanks for the pics Manaray but like mooretorque said i'll pass on this one as well.. You know it looks too much like a Hyundia IMO.. :eek:

I agree with 2SAVVY on this one. This is one ugly car. The front styling looks overdone, like on many Hyundai cars and the side view looks like an OldsmoBuick of some sort.
At least I will give Toyota credit for taking chances and not slipping into the bland abyss like Honda has. However, if they want to produce some different-but-attractive cars, they should steal some of the designers away from Chrysler. I've never been a huge Chrysler lover but they do take chances and make some absolutely different but beautiful cars (300M, PT Cruiser, Prowler, Viper).

I don't like the front, but the rest of car looks good. I think Toyota has too many SUV choices in their lineup. They should export more sportscars or sedans. Hey, what do you guys think of the new Matrix coming out next year? I believe it has the same 180hp Celica engine with a 6speed manual trans.
are you sure they're using this to replace the CHASER? Chaser was defined to be a sport sedan, one class lower than the Aristo. Now they use this luxury-looking thing to replace it? I don't see why they would.
the JZX110 codename doesn't always mean it's a new model replacement. For example all the cars using the same JZX wheelbase will be the same name (Chaser, Mark II, Cresta are all JZX) so hmm.......... I'm not sure about this car..........
