Default Wide-Body MR2s

Until I seen the widebody ones, I always thought that the lastest MR2s are just hideous looking. The modified ones with a wide-body kit, however, is really stunning to the point where I actually wish I can get an MR-2 as 2nd car. What do u guys think of these cars?

Best steering I've ever felt. Better than NSX, S2000, Boxster, MKIV Supras, and tons of other sportscars. Quick, ultra responsive and light on it's feet. Noticeably more responsive and way more stable than Miata which has tons of body roll. Good and short shifter. But very cramp and hard to get in. It's like sliding into a bath tub. Engine is buzzy and cheap sounding. Not very fast or torquey, but it's not suppose to be. Gets awesome MPG, it's a convertable. This model is easy to find and many are still in great shape with low miles. From the way it looks, engine bay is even tighter to get to than 2nd gen(pain in the ****). Exterior design is not for everyone unless it's heavily modded like the wide kit in your links. It's the most underated sportscar out there and easily qualify as the poor man's Lotus Elise. You can get a great deal on one since everyone seems to prefer the gay looking Miata.

Yea, the difference between stock and widebody is day and night. Yea it seems like it should handle pretty well if its tuned right because its small and mid-engined

Even though Veilside cars produce insane amounts of hp, their exterior designs never really appealed to me

Default Mr2

I' ve always like the MR-S however, it is kinda bland with it's smooth lines/sides and thin wheels was left to be desired. However, with a lil work it could be a nice cool cruiser.
On the other hand, to me, the Miata is too cute.

Any car with blown struts gets horrible body roll.

I saw one with a bodykit kit similar to this one and thought it looked great. Very exotic and Italian looking.

I couldn't figure out what it was at first, but then I saw it from the rear.
