Default How many have Lo-Jack

Planning on doing this, how many have Lo-Jack installed in there cars. I am looking at $800 here in Washington.

i have it on my gs4. the previous owner got it installed so i just had to pay the 60 bucks transfer fee

anyway, yeah, the whole process was pretty simple. they do all the work and you mostly just sit back in the house and pay when they are done

I had it in my 94 SC400... which was stolen and recovered. The only cars I haven't put it into have been cars with built-in "call home" type capabilities like OnStar (Mercedes and Saab).

I have it in both my current cars, the Lexus and Infiniti. Definitely worth the peace of mind.

Before you make a decision, call your local police departments and ask what percentage of their fleet is equipped with the proper equipment to track it.

Something to consider. If your car has high security, it can't be started without the proper key. This means it can only be stolen by carjack or if someone gets a hold of your keys. Though having it will often get you a nice discount on your insurance.
