SO finally...
I GOT THE DAMN CAR TO PASS EMMISSIONS!
Funny thing is my car is a hypochrandiac, I replaced every single egr related component and the cel with code 71 turns on?
Funny car idles smooth now and it passed emmissions with a wide margin! Welp im not going to worry about it. Now that that is done first order of bussines soon after belt and misc is done is order egr block plates! And remove the egr system! I seen the destructive power of the egr system, mainly the connector pipe I had to replace, and welp.. I better store this items for next time emmission comes that way I know parts will still be new!Funny thing is I roll into the rollers the guy like ussual tells me to stop my front wheels at the rollers! I say "eh wrong!" And keep going till my back wheels are on the rollers. While the other guy tells him its rwd. I pop the hood to reveal the awesomeness that is an automatic bone stock na 2jz-ge powered car
. Third guy comes in and says. "2jz no ****!" Then begins to tell the other guy what other toyota cars come with such engines. Ah no wonder friends and people I know can pass emmissions (sniffer pre obd 2 cars) and visual here with rb25det/sr20det/ca18det powered 240sx's! I guess they tell them that very limited number 240sx came in with a turbo inline 6 as a very rare factory option! Although my favorite one was the highschool kid that put those little breather filters in his blow off valve and told the inspection lady that his bov was the egr valve! (unfortunately you cant turbo a ka motor and keep egr system at same time.) Eh as long as the cars pass emmisions cleanly whats the harm done anyways?
