so I deleted the egr pipe because its the biggest engineering blunder on the whole car. But after I drove the car for 3 days, the CEL popped on and the TRAC turns off. What gives? I thought <95 didn't throw the code??

 

Is the ECM throwing a code 71? Did you do the resister mod when you deleted the egr pipe?

 

I did not do the resistor mod. Is there a DETAILED spot where I can find that? So far all ive seen is pics of just the resistor..

 

Aside, your car is not running well. May also want to change the ECT and you'll probably need O2 sensors if it is fouling the EGR system. If it continues to run rich, the cats will be the next.

 

the car is actually running pretty good. No different than it usually is. MPG is doing fine, car idles and runs great, only thing is the light is on and the TRAC wont turn on with the CEL on
