I went last year in St. Louis... if y'all are bored, i highly recommend going. They bring a wide variety of foreign cars as well. I think I only bothered to drive 4 GM's... a C6, GTO, CTS, STS..... and i spent the rest of the time tearin it up in all the imports :-) I almost got kicked out for gettin sideways in a C320 with trac turned off.... good times.

While most people here seem not to care for it, I actually enjoyed the GTO a lot. I'd consider it more of a touring coupe like the SC (not as luxurious or refined obviously) more than a sports car.
I went to the one in flroida a few months back. I thought it was actually pretty good. I mostly drove any Lexus I saw but I gave the new C6 vette a spin a few times and the H2 was well nothing that great and incredibly slow. I have to say the SSR wasnt half bad to drive because of the huge amounts of torque. I had that thing going sideways through all the turns and my friend went crazy and did a 360 while driving and we almost got kicked out but they were cool about it. If its in you town I'd say go early so you can drive without waiting. The only bad thing is I hate pretty much every GM car there and aftering sitting and dirving them it kinda reinforced it even more. The only ok ones was the C6 vette and the saab 95 and 93 convert. The rest were a waste of time to even drive. I had a blast in the LX470 tho. If you dont see your city on the list they usually do a city by city tour so wait a few months and you'll probably see it up because most likely you missed the tour

lately i've taken a real affection for the GTO
my plan to go drive it and see what it's really like.
They had it here in NY. The only cars they let you floor it the c6 vette and the cadillac cts V. Those cars fell under the performance category. The Gto was in the sedan/coup category, and the maximum speed allowed on the course was25 miles per hour. You have to drive on the slower courses to qualify to drive the high performance cars. They will not let you drive the vette once you walk through the door
