With a cop? ....

After my friends graduation we went to a Carl's Jr. before the Grad Night. After we ate there was a butt-load of traffic in the street because the school is just a block down. When i saw an opening i went for it and cut of 3 people (needed to make a left turn right away). As soon as i made the turn i saw a bike cop fly after me I turn right and then left, but he found me anyway This is how the convo went:

Cop: Why were you running from me?
Me: I wasn't
Cop: If you are going to keep lying then this night will be very bad for you...
Me:Ok, i was trying to hide, but i WASNT running
Cop: Where's your seat belt?
Me: I just took it off (Never had it on)
Cop: License and Insurance
Me: *Gives the papers*
Cop: Did you just graduate?
Me: No but my friend in the back did (he is still wearing the cap and gown)
Cop: This ticket will cost you a couple hunderd dollars...
Me: Im sorry.
Cop: I'll tell you what... Take your friend out for dinner or something and drive safe
Me: ....Ummmm thanks.....

AND HE LEFT!

I never had that happen to me! Great night lol

it wouldn't have been a very good night.

 

wish a cop were nicer to me...

i made a left turn thinking it was clear (bushes covered some of my view), and i realized that there was traffic coming...

and it just happened to be an officer in front... almost hit me... but i swerved out of the way in time to dodge him... but he pulled me right over...

gave me a $105.50 ticket and 3 points for "not yeilding to oncoming traffic"...

i think he was just angry and bit spooked...

 

one good experience i had....

i was sitting in my friends car...and he CUT OFF A COP. he honked...(we didn't notice because of the music), and ran off at 70mph. the cop caught up with us...checked his speedo, slowed down and turned on his siren... (we only had JUST noticed the cop when he pulled alongside..). we were frankly actually late for church..


and we told him so... "we're rushing cuz we don't wanna be late for church."

his reply was...

"well you might be a bit extra early to heaven if you keep the driving habits like that...slow down and go to church now fellas."



and no ticket.

 

i gotta find some nice cops around town here

 

I've gotten off with a couple of warnings before similar to your experience, there are some nice cops around.

 

now thats a nice cop. not too many of them out there
