Spotted!!!! The all New S-Class yesterday
So im driving around Times Square last night as i see the new Ferrari F430 pull up next to me. Im amazed at the looks of the car. As i turn to look up front, i see a car disguised zoom right be the light. I immediatly remember the pics from CL of the new S-class. I turn to follow the car (get a closer look) and the driver pulls over to let out 2 exec's from the back seat. The car is absolutely amazing in person. They let me sit in it and gave me some brochures along with a estimated release date and broke down some of the options that will be available in Germany but not in the US. VERY nice guys!!! Couldnt help buy notice how much Mercedes bit off the 745 though. Down to the trunk, very similar. Beautiful interior however. I snapped some pics with my camera phone, but cant seem to get them up right now.... I will try to post a little later

Damn Mo, you chased the dude down..ran up on his new S-class...got in the damn thing...and snapped pics?!! Ha ha ha ha ha, a true auto-enthusiast aka "car-psycho" after my own heart...

Yes... im a car psycho!!!! The interior is VERY similar to the 745!! The shifter was on the column. This particular S500 had TVs in the headrest and i was told that this option will not be available in the US. The trunk has that one touch button to close (same as 745) the Dash is identical except for the speedometer section. Its actually digital display of the old version speedometer.
As for me sitting in it, the guy was very pleased to see that i actually had some prior knowledge about the car (My boy driving behind me with his CL55 also helped prove we are not just bums ) and he actually insisted on me sitting in it. He then went on to show me some special brochure he had in his trunk and told me that the release date will be feb 06. Can anyone confirm this?
