Default building a sleeper

I was just sitting here bored and started thinking about my next project, which I plane to start when I graduate. I will be going for the sleeper look; my show car project is currently in progress. I am torn between an IS300 and a GS300, used of course, maybe 2002 – 2004. So which car would you guys say would make the best sleeper?

Turbo IS300..Best sleeper out there when built right. Not many 4 doorss that can be boosted and take down vipers, etc...

I would get an IS since you can get a 5 speed stick. A perfect sleeper all you need is an aftermarket turbo kit and you're good to go with 300+ rwhp which is enough to take alot of things on the street.

I'd do GS300, but I'm biased.

Haha a 240sx coupe with the Silvia head lights gets confused with just another dull 2nd gen integra alot!
Here is an example vs a supercharge cobra owner a modded 5.0 ... their somewhat disrespectful remarks...

Funny thing is the car was running on low boost (.8 bar) and had a turbo gasket leak.

the 1st gen GS
you can't make the IS into a sleeper since it looks sporty / fast - not to mention actually doing it will cost you a lot more than modding a 1st gen gs

gs + aristo clip + brakes + suspenssion and you are set

Gee, the 240SX wasn't an option that the original poster asked about. But then again, you come here to promote Nissan to a Lexus/Toyota biased forum. Go figure.

The GS would be the best sleeper. Swap out the suspension, keep the wheels/tires stock (at least the factory 17s) and swap a 1JZ-GTE or 2JZ-GTE VVTi (from the JDM Aristo)...or even single turbo the stock 2JZ-GE.

Yeah, the GS would be the best sleeper. The IS is still a sleeper to those that don't know about cars, but to enthusiasts, they know.

With a GS, people in general don't know how fast the 4 is and a GS 300 would be a total sleeper, even to enthusiasts.

gs would be a better sleeper! no one expects such a big car to dominate the streets!
