Exclamation Most Likely... My Next Car!!!

After having had a VERY positive discussion with my neighbor who recently purchased a C6 at a "substantial" factory employee discount, driving his car, seeing the Z06 recently in person, and him telling me that if I wait @ next Spring, I can in fact get @ 8 - 10k off of the upcoming estimated $65k+........ My immediate financial spending habits are to be controlled... BIG TIME! I don't mind one bit waiting a year to spend mid to upper 50's on what will be one of the FASTEST CARS ON EARTH!!!

Looks like my 'right around the corner' Twin-Turbo setup on my Z will not be taking place.
But....... It's for the best.

Excellent choice my friend. My father will be selling his '01 Vette soon and once prices are officially released he will be buying an '06 silver/black Z06. Just wait, I'll have a completely comprehensive write-up coming up in the next year.

TX, that would be a very worthwhile swap IMO. Likely as fast as your future TT Z setup would be too.

It seems you can't get rid of that wheel gap no matter how much you lower the C6 . . .

No kidding...... And probably quicker due to overall setup. And more reliable due to straight engine as oppossed to F/I.

The C6 Z06 is ****, > any 350Z setup. The C6 is going to shake things up considering the price. Good luck dude, good choice.

I didn't say it doesn't look good overall, I' m just wondering why they choose to make it so big, it's even more obvious for a lighter color car. I like it's look overall than the new 997 actually . . .

I'm a patient man....... And I truly believe that waiting a year for the "PERFORMANCE BARGAIN" of the Millenium is well worth waiting for.

I will most likely go with SILVER! I saw this color in person on the Z06 at the Dallas Auto Show, and it was just S I C K! Easy to keep clean and timeless color on a Sports Car IMO.

TXSTLYE.... Z06 would be an awesome choice. I haven't seen performance data on it yet, but I'm sure for 60,000, it may possibly be the most bang for the buck out of any car ever sold.

And here's an idea.... forget putting the twin-setup on the Z.... I'm sure Lingenfelter will be developing a twin-turbo system for the new vettes much as they have done so for the C5's! Just imagine 900+hp
