ummm, no never used one, and seriousl i don't know if it's needed?
buying a car nowadays isn't like what it was yrs ago. there are so much information out there about the prices, the invoice, teh markets, etc... and with some research homework most people should be able to figure out what price is reasonable.
and a lot of manufacturers and dealerships, they have more and more transparent information on their policy, incentives, etc... as well. and since people got smarter i think dealership also becomes more eager to deal to be competitive. to me i think the market has changed.
so i think you should be able to negotaite a good deal yourself
I used a broker to find a a used GS for me. I wanted the silver on black but he couldnt find one with low miles so I went on my own and got my silver. But I asked him about new cars and he said if he didnt get it well below msrp that he wouldnt charge his fee, which was around $400 or so. I dont know what percent "well" equates to but he said it would be well worth his fee. I think when I look for my next car I will try him out. I am horrible at buying cars. I get excited and just sign my life away. Not good when buying anything.
I'm not what you would call an auto broker per se, but I do auto consulting in my spare time, give people auto and buying advice, help them decide which vehicle is best for them, shop with them, and test-drive and inspect their new cars for them to make sure they are prepared properly.
A friend of mine is getting the 06 325 but the price is pretty much MSRP. Just wanna see if the price tag can go any lower.
That's why the new car broker question comes in. Any thought?
06? is that the new body style? if it's high demand that i don't see any room for negotiations personally. just like you can't get the new gs430 now for under msrp
