I just noticed another thing, they seem to like mounting their tranny/engine oil cooler mounts on the front bumper of the car for everyone to see. Maybe they think it's cool because it looks like an intercooler

I remember those days back in the early-mid 80's. Seems that the anime of the period inspired some car mods. I'm glad we don't see Gundam's current incarnation translated to cars.
