New IS on the road

(I posted a duplicate at MY.IS.)

I'm lucky(?) enough to live within a miles distance from Toyota/Lexus headquarters in Gardena so often I see the new models being test driven before they hit the lots. I saw the new GS and the LS before they were introduced previously. I could probably camp near the back entrance to the Toyota lot, but I'd probably get in trouble. LOL.

Anywho, the new IS is being driven around the area, but I'm guessing they are doing night runs well, since I saw it at night(?). It was being driven on Normandie, then entered the 405N entrance. I tried to chase after it but I got stuck at a red.

I'm carrying my camera starting tomorrow!

i remember seeing the new GS in that area a week before its release date. It already had plates, although not your regular CA plate, and everything...even enough dirt for it NOT to look brand new. I took some pics with my phone BUT the display went to junk so the pictures are gone.

I've seen the new GS on the road a couple times...but I didn't think it had the presence the previous gen GS has. For some reason, it seemed quite a bit smaller too. I like the 2nd gen much more.

kinda weird here, i live in cornelius nc, (charlotte practically up the street) and i have never seen a GS yet being driven. the salesdude said they sold quite a few, but never seen one, but where i live at, practically all u see is MB S55 &600, 760i (anything with the price tag of 6 digits practically
