Of all the strut bars I have seen, I believe the TRD one is the strongest. I like how they use a an i beam design and the thick support at the strut attacment. The fi beam type design is stronger than the conventional oval shaped beam used by cusco etc.
However, I highly doubt anyone would ever need that kind of strength in a street driven car.
I would say strut braces are effective about 15% and it's hardly noticeable. When you add up all these lil suspension mods, then it becomes truely effective in my opinion. Meaning if you get a strut brace you should then get a sway bar, followed by coilovers or a good spring/shock combo.
Good point Aristo, I too think that in order to acheive (sp) the most from any type uspension mod you need to do the whole thing. Like, shocks, sways, springs, etc. But I have never used or thought of braces or towers.
I'm going to go do some measurements tomorrow on a couple different vechicles. Maybe make some blueprints and mock up something this week. (I am still out of work from surgery.)

Are you planning to construct your own?
I think there's a reason the ES has no/little performance parts...
