Thanx Henry, I haven't seen that link before , I' ve seen their kits & heard about the supercharger & that's some time ago too so it's not exactly news, but I didn't know that's how they call it

KOMPRESSOR is actually a German term for compressor, or supercharger. The word was noted recently for its use on the last-generation Mercedes 4-cylinder 190 HP SLK.

Superchargers differ from turbochargers mainly in being engine-driven rather than exhaust-driven......thus they suffer little if any lag like turbos usually do, run at cooler tempratures, and do not need added hardware or intercoolers.

 

Thanx Marshall, I know what kompressor means, they have been on the Benz's for years, just that I didn't know that Ward has named their body kit/brakes/supercharger package for the SC430 "SC43 Kompressor " because I haven't visited the Japanese site Henry provided, I' ve seen them on THIS SITE where that specific name isn' t mentioned.

 

Out of curiosity, how much power does the SC43K make?? I went to Spec's and its all in I believe Japanese.

 

yeah, wald is doing a lot to make their brand more euro feel, and have been very sucessful. quite a few mb has wald kits

and wald has the full lineup for mb i believe. good stuff, i like them
