New GS and IS designs are so thorough!
I love how the exterior of these two cars (front, rear, sides), convey such absolute and extensive design detail.
I prefer most cars with aero/body kits, a stock bodied car just doesn't do it for me. However, regarding the new GS and IS, I could live with just upgraded wheels and a lowering job.
Anyone else feel the same way?

I agree with you on the GS's looks......and I saw the first Lexus TV ad for it last night.
We still don't know EXACTLY what the new IS is going to look like...it has not been publically unveiled yet, though there have been MANY speculations....especially here on CL. Flipside 909 is the only CL member I know of that has actually seen press pictures of the new IS.
Since you asked for opinions, as far as non-stock wheels and a lowering job, I think it is a waste of time and money. You paid good cash for the stock wheels and suspension (and they were designed specifically for the car), so USE them.

I post in that forum when I feel I have something constructive and informative to add.....not just to bump up my post count. I've made numerous posts about the IS300's engine, transmission, and interior.
My best talents lie in the general areas of car talk, auto consulting, and the auto market, so I spend the majority of my time there.....as your talents (and 1SICK's) seem to be in the area of finding interesting articles to post.

I always felt Lexus design was simply bunched because of the success of the LS. Lexus always was called having bland styling when in fact, they are not at all even before the L-finesse. But now, there is no arguing the designs are even more eye-catching and gorgous. Of course since Lexus haters, well hated on the styling, what will they try to pull now.

I like the new designed and the direction Lexus is heading in the future. Can't waint until Lexus launch in Japan and I like to see what kind of the cars they will roll out of the showroom floor in their hometown.

I'm gonna miss my RX's ride height & cargo capability (but not by much!)
