Im a newb in cars but my question is whats faster a 92' SC400 or an 1998 Bmw M3 both stocked?

 

I THINK the m3 would be quicker, especially if it was a manual transmission compared to the slow shifting auto on the sc400.

If I would get the M3 i would mod it up. What do you guys recommend?

 

i would get the M3 over the 92' SC but that SC isn't worth 10k its worth about 5-6K. the m3 has more readily mods avail. and its overall a more sporty car. but the SC is a more reliable car but check the history on both before jumping to a conclusion but for 10k you can a get a better,cleaner and nicer SC than the one you posted. such as these

they just modded a 95 M3 on Speed channel tonight. I say of the two, get the bmw

 

a police radio is fastest followed by a close 2nd by the police chopper

 

lol did anyone actually look at the SC? THE THINGS HIDEOUS, I feel so bad for it



And I thought it was impossible to make a 97+ style RSP SC look bad

 

i would definitely go with the m3.

 

The M3 is quicker to 60mph from standstill.

The SC4 is faster in terms of top speed. The BMW is electronically limited unless it's been chipped (95') or sharked (96-99' models).

Yeah, that's just a bad example. . . That M3 looks clean, though. You should do some research on the two, and check out the CL classifieds as abboushi suggested.

 

yeah off the line the m3 is going to be faster. after 80mph i think the sc4 will catch up

 

Everybody loved it when AC did that hood. What's stopping that car from hitting the ground and going with Ali's AC kit in the classifieds?

 

I duno Im thinking you will save more money if you get an SC over the BMW but Im also thinking WTF is growing outa that hood?
