Its camouflage.. not a very good one though imo lol Bentley(now owned by VW) and Rolls Royce(now owned by Bowel Movement or BM) were owned by Jaguar who is owned by Ford so the Bentley is actually a gussied up Lincoln Continental or as some might say and upscale Ford Focus ZX5 LOL!! JK
The Continental name has been around for a while, and for the grille...let's hope it's crappy camo because it is a direct Benz ripoff.
One thing, the Continental name has always been for coupes (maybe they anticipated it and named the new one the Continental GT so they could make a sedan). This is one of my all time favorites though, the older Bentley Continental R

Haha of course I'M KIDDING lol I know for a fact its Camo, I forgot where I read about it, maybe CAR magazine. Hah I know nowadays we have rip-offs left and right of different carmakers, so much so that we no longer know who started what when & where lol BUT that would be the most BLATANT rip-off of all time!!! Don't worry guys Bentley isn't stooping that low! Theirs just not done with the design yet, needed to do some real world R&D and figured the Camo would fool non-car enthusiast(IMO they were wrong though lol), who are the majority, and that it would be less conspicuous than the usual wrap the car in leather or rags camo lol!
BTW you're right about the continental name. I think its a good name actually and does hold some prestige.. I dont think it should be relegated by the Public to the Lincoln Continental when it was used in other cases for quite some time as with the last gen Bentley you posted
Thats a good way to blow out all those un-sold Phaetons. LOL
I said all along the Phaeton (or bentley equivilant) makes a ton more sense in every way. Also I think the idea of a 5000 lb car works better with 4-doors and a real back seat. Not that the Conti coupe isn't selling like hot cakes.

*sighs* I truly hope that won't be the next Arnage...I saw an Arnage this past weekend at a steakhouse I went to, and it's truly a beatiful car. I hope they don't deviate too much from the current design.
I also read in one of my mags the grill was put there to fake people out. Let's hope Bently does a lot better on this thing before it gets anywhere near a showroom.
Thats not the real design. They made it mimic an S-Class to confuse people during testing. Im sure the real version will be stunning. I can't wait to see it.
