It looks pretty production like to you?! That thing is covered with black tape, garbage bags, and all sorts of other random objects. That messed up grill certainly doesn't look production level yet, and neither do all the dents/rivets on the hood. For all we know, the headlight shape is different, the wheels will be different, and you can barely see how the side fenders are sculpted.. you can't even tell what the back lights are. The only thing you can really see is the overall shape/profile of the vehicle. Other than that, to call this looking production like seems a little to me...

I said it before and I'll say it again, these are camouflaged spy shots of a prototype test mule.

/rant over please forgive me, I just like to argue (and type! )

As ugly as it looks in these pictures... it says hardly anything about how the final design is going to come out.

Why are they down-grading by taking the taillights of the X3?
Yeah hope they don't butcher it b/c the current is nice already.

BMW went from being posters on my wall to being placemats.... I guess, they still think the new designs are right and we are wrong.

Terrible would be an underestimation.

The Camo isn't really hiding much, just the details. I can clearly see what this POS will look like.
Let's hope it's not the X5 but what else could it be? Whatever happened to the nice staight flowing lines that characterized BMW's for so long. These new models have weird lines going off in every conceivable direction and it just doesn't work. If BMW drew off of their last generation, they could potentially be building the best looking cars on the road. Unfortunately, they are building some of the worse looking.
