Take a look at this email. Looks like Lexus sales are getting pretty slimey these days.
Greetings,
Just a quick update to let you know that Lexus has annouced a new contest for dealers
based on sales of the new 2005 Lexus ES330 which we intend to win. It is Tuesday morning
and I am sitting at my desk and I am going to give you, the guest that gave us your email
address, to have the first opportunity to save some money, without sacrificing service or quality.
I have to deliver 19 additional 2005 Lexus ES330's before 11/30/2004 to win the contest. I WILL
do whatever to jump out in the lead and win the early bird prize plus the grand prize. My
motivation will be to try to have both secured by Monday night 11/29/2004. My goal is to have
the 19 ASAP. If you are in the market and want to save some money, call us ASAP and let's get
together. You save some money, I win the contest.
Because you have given us your email address, you will be the first ones to know about this situation
(not even all of our sales associates know yet, because of schedule differences and days off). When you call your sales associate, or myself, please mention the "Sales Manager Super Bowl Contest."
