Thats whats up. Interior looks stunning. The back of the car reminds me of my 97 Maxima. Red on top, clear lights on bottom. Symbol, and a big MAXIMA in the middle. Damn, Iwonder what the next Camry interior and ES330's are gonna look like. I like this Avalon a lot.

Cool 06' Avalon

Isn't this the Avalon that supposed to come out in Feb 2005 as a 2005 Model? The interior dash resembles the current Camry Dash except for all of the Aluminum trim. The exterior looks like it has been stretched to make the car longer but the lights look pretty similiar to the M45 and the current Avalon. I think it looks much better compared to the current Avalon but compared to the Toyota Japan sedans like the Mark X and the Crown/Majesta this car is still a bit of a disappointment styling wise.

Yeah sorry about that.It contains all of the little details about the car which is pretty cool. Stuff that the average person could care less about. Basically I just copy and pasted it. Thats how it turned out here. I will go back and edit it, to make it shorter. Sorry about that.

Its beautiful! I drove a '04 Avalon a few months ago and it was great...real smooth ride. The only thing I disliked was it being front wheel drive really.

OOps ! Just found out it's a repost Delete or merge please. I really like the interior BTW, looks even better than the ES330 IMO. I still prefer the Toyota Crown though.

Looks somewhat better, IMO, than the present Avalon....but still not as good as the original Avalon that was introduced in 1994-95.
I notice it has that now ubiquitous zig-zag shifter gate. Too many manufacturers today are using that....they are, IMO, a pain in the butt to operate, just like Jaguar's J-gate. The auto companies should dump these zig-zag designs and go back to a simple straight-forward and straight-back push-pull design like they had for so many years. Sometimes "progress" isn't really progress ....as Chris Bangle's cars so painfully point out.

Looks like about the same wood they're using in the light-shade wood option on the new ES330.
