I knew this car looked familiar... This guy is in my state and I remember when he wanted to open up a dealership of skylines here, and it was during the exact same time when he finally had this first car purchased during that spring of April 2004. Not only that, the price for $35,000; that's the same exact price he was quoting to sale... Originally, the car was a GTS not a GTR, and he did mention that he was going to motor swap it etc., however, the car was salvage titled when he purchased it, and the body was heavily damaged. Now, its all smooth and he did a lot of changes...

Just to forewarn, I don't trust the guy.

basically, for the R32 period (if I remember correctly), GT-S is either RB20DE, RB25DE (both N/A) or RB20DET single turbo, matched with RWD. GT-R uses RB26DETT with AWD.

in R33 and R34 it's generally the same too, GT-S models get N/A or single turbo engines with RWD, while GT-R gets the monster RB26DETT with Atessa AWD.

some people prefer GT-S turbo over GT-R because of the RWD characteristics. If that's the case then I would rather get a Supra

If I were going to get a "right drive" car it would have to be an R34 GT-R. Though I would settle for a GT-S turbo.
