Yes, it does, IMO......but then I have ALWAYS been a sucker for both real and imitation wood trim.....especially the medium-to-light and flatter, not highly polished shades. I'm almost as much of a sucker for carbon-fiber, too, if it's done right. I'll take either wood or carbon-fiber in almost ANY color interior....yours included.

I don't think it goes very well with that gray interior color. A designer would say that the wood has warm tones and the gray is too cool to match up well with it.

Nah, if it indeed is Maple that stuff is SO hard it almost immediately dulls your steel tools Also, the curly figuring and birds-eye marking are very striking, almost irridescent. I don't think the pictures do it justice. However, it still looks cr*ppy with that color gray interior.
