A wrecked C6 already!
Man, saw this on Corvetteforum.com, and thought I'd show it. This really hurts. Not the guy's fault at all, but he was just in a bad place. Hurts to see this on a car with less than 200 miles on it.

had that been me, and If the other person lived, they wouldn't have for long.
I understand the guy'sconcerns griping about the factory paint, but c'mon, thats minor damage, those things are nothing but paper thin fiberglass, it doesnt look like he hardly got hit at all. If he wants factory paint, just have them replace the hood and fender with one's sent from the factory and be done with it.
I HIGHLY doubt there is any other really extensive damage. The wheel offset isn't even damaged. just minor fiberglass problems.

No....absolutely NOT. This is how people get hurt and killed even if they survive accidents....road rage.
Doing this will NOT get the Corvette fixed, and can lead to a SERIOUS confrontation.
Actually, with body shops there is good news and bad news. The bad news is that with many of them, the poster is right......their "good as new" work is a long way from really as good as new. The good news is that a GOOD body shop (and I have seen them) can in fact do work that is virtually indistinguishable from th factory.
