Oh this hurts sooo sooo bad.
Always made it a habit of parking farthest away with no cars near by when visiting malls or restaurants.
I found this damage on my wife's rc when we came out after lunch on sunday.
Dropped off this morning at the shop, they said there's just no way of keeping the original fender and will have to be replaced, repainted and sections of the hood and door to be blended.
I really doubt they can match the factory paint but wish me luck.

Dang! This happened to my IS, but not as bad. What is up with people parking right next to your car while your parked super far away! Its almost like putting a target on your back

i sometimes wonder with the way society is today that some asshat would do this on purpose just because its a nice car, and you parked it out of the way. i've scene vids online of people doing things like that, mostly because they are jealous losers that dont want to work for anything, and cant stand the fact that you did, and they didnt. pisses me off to no end.

1 week and this is what I saw this morning.
The part of the hood was blended as well as the door...but its too obvious when the color doesn't match with the pillar.
I didn't accept the repair and left it for them to figure things out.
This was shot in the shade...I don't want to see what it will look like in the sun.
Am strongly considering filing a claim for DV if it comes back like this again.

rmason - That is so unfortunate That is why I dislike having to have my vehicle repainted, it is so difficult to get a perfect match or a flawless finish. I hope they'll be abe to resolve this for you and will be satisfactory

http://detailsltd.com/ The owner can be a bit off putting, but they did great work matching paint for me. They are not cheap. But if you want to get a quote, give them a try.
