Originally posted by mmarshall Since a lot of you guys are b - - - -ing about the exhaust, here's something else to keep in mind ....it is not a true dual system. Look under the car and you'll see where the two front pipes coming off the headers merge into a single pipe about halfway back and then re-split again to exit the rear in two separate tips.

Youre correct, Dixond ....and a good catch......Thanks.
My apology. It IS a true dual system....but you have to look real close. The two pipes appear to merge, but don't quite. Every once in a while I check a wrong source.
Just for reference, the 1969 Pontiac GTO "Judge" in its signature "Carousel Red Orange" livery:
Note the hood-mounted tach (questionable value, but did not require modification of the instrument panel), the proto-wing, and the exhaust tips (reprised on the '05, but not as attractive on the more finely drawn bodywork). I'd say the new "Judge" is a much-improved homage to its prececessor.
I am in love!!!
The new judge is awesome and I also like the new Dodge Magnum, it's hot too. It looks like the big 3 are trying to bring back the muscle car era, and I am all for it!!!!!

Don't know how the folks would feel about me trying to scam a (probably) $60k car. Actually, down the street, there's a GS400 for sale....not the Lexus, but a Buick Grand Sport 400. My dad was pretty interested. That would be a great car IMO, and related to the Regals.
Looks half decent, probably runs decent with that much under the hood too. It's just too bad it is a GM. It will need a timing chain at 50,000 miles, the steering rack will probably go out around 70,000 and the tranny will fail around 65,000 to 85,000. It'll start to have overheating problems, the interior will inevitably warp in every area, The paint itself will fade or peel unless it is strictly garage kept and meticulously maintained.
Nice looking car, buy it, drive it, at 30,000 miles SELL IT.

Maybe.....maybe not. This is an American Corvette engine in an Australian car. The car itself is untested in the American market. GM products vary from extremely reliable to extremely unreliable...and everything in between. Only time will tell for this particular car.
