Wow, that is one of my most favorite Ferrari body styles ever. Absolute . I do not know about maintanence, but I would expect it to be relatively requent and costly.
However, I'm sure having such a car at your disposal would take those headaches away...Good luck, she's gorgeous.
Wow, talk about movin' up! Ocala will never be the same.
Ferrari's are basically street legal race cars, so they're not meant to be driven lots of miles, and maintenance is EXPENSIVE. Don't buy this car as a daily driver, but other than that, go for it!
I'm not a Ferrari owner, however, I've read in one of the major automotive mags (I think car and driver) that the F355 has been the most reliable Ferrari. So I guess thats a good thing, but thats still just comparing it to other Ferrari models.
Oh, I forgot to mention...There's not much more that gets my blood going than a small-displacement V8. Sub-4-litre V8s are something to be treasured, and this car has one, of course.
You'll never be Schumacher, but having that makes it a helluva lot easier to pretend!!
I am glad that you asked this question, because I'm also intersted in the 355sp.
At first I was going to get an NSX sometime here soon, but I'm holding off till the newer model comes out.
After thinking about it I am also thinking about a used 355sp (black on black). It was cost as much as a new NSX. Hopefully some of your questions get answer and I too will know some of the information that I have been seeking.
Originally posted by SexySC If one has to worry about reliability & maintainence cost for a Ferrari, then one probably can't afford it. They are very expensive toys for sure.
Thanks for the concern, I just dont want it to get in the way of my retiring at 30.
BTW, I'm planning to pay cash for the car if it makes you feel any better.
i don't think u need 2 b rich or not rich 2 ask if a car is realiable....mayb he just wants 2 know whats he's getting into...theirs nothing wrong with that...
