Have you SEEN the new RL? I was actually quite excited about it until an hour ago when I saw the photos. Man, it's BOR-ING! All they had to do was make a larger TL with higher end content and materials and they would've had a home run. Instead they created....urgh....boring. So I'm thinking that I'll be looking at either a G35 Coupe if the new interior is nice, an M35 if they make it available with a manual, or possibly an M45 if I decide I want to plunk down the $$$ it'll take to get into one optioned the way I'd want.

Here's a more reliable URL for those pics:

Thanks for the pictures BrickHead. The M45 looks sick compare to the other two cars. I can wait to see the performance numbers when all 3 cars are tested.

If you choose the 4th pic from the top on that site and click on 'high resolution' you will see the 'blue laser/ring' around the headlights and the foglights.. You will also see the orange LED (side markers?). I guess they seemed more visible on the Fuga concept because it was on display indoor. Also notice the lit-up 'infiniti' on the door sill.

Notice the speakers on top of the seats. .... "advanced surround audio system with 14-speaker 5.1-channel decoding with two personal speakers mounted in each front seat. "

I personally like the way the M45 looks. The front is stunning to me, i love the headlights and grill. The bottom portion of the bumper looks like they took it right off of the G35 and put round foglights in it. Im not a fan of the rear, looks like an afterthought, or they ran out of time in order to get the car to NY autoshow. It has the "This will do for now" look to it (WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THOSE TURN SIGNALS). But on the inside, I like the 2 tone look. Black and that off white look great together, along with the crome trims on everything, including the steering wheel buttons. But what i dont like about the interior is just the shape of that dashboard. Its recessed at the top, and out of no where its shooting out at you, like "HEY LOOK AT ME". Very wierd look to it. But I do like the speakers in the seat thing. Those are cool, the Volvo S80 and S60 had those, but it was wired to the cell phone, but such a great idea.

I was trying to get myself to like the new RL, at first I did. Then looked at some pictures of the TL and felt the way just about everyone else here feels. BORING. I cant see myself in that car. Its nice and all, but it has the sportiness of a 1997 LS400. But then again, I believe that Acura is shooting at that LS430, 7-series, S-class type of car range, just like the previous one, except at a price that would compete with GS430 and M45.

The new GS I think looks great. It does resemble the previous GS's, but then again, so does the M45, and RL. I think the GS looks as good as the M45( actually the other way around). I love the design of it, the curves of the car are just sexy as all hell (so good make u wanna slap your mama!). I would definately would like to see a little more chrome work in the car, and two-tone interiors always did it for me. If they showed the GS with that saddle leather they have in the SC, LS, etc or that off white they have in the M45, I think it would look so much better.

Well, these are just my opinions people, but I cant wait to see all 3 of these cars at the autoshow next week. They are all great looking cars, but my pick from these pictures will be the new GS. 2005 is gonna be a great year for luxury car models, or shall I say GS, cause we all know who is going to be the reigning champion at the end of the year. LEXUS SON!!

My only gripes about the M45 would be the lack of wood and the oversized tail lights. I am also concerned about the aluminum inner/outer door panels and the hood. I wonder how the aluminum doors would hold up in a side impact.

After seeing the new RL, the M35/45 and new GS are really awesome looking. Brickhead, those maybe airbags on the top of the seat, not speakers. So the GS will have a fight on it's hands for the reigning premier Japanese luxury sports sedan! I can't wait.

The new GS looks a little dumpy and bloated compared to the new M45. The M45 has sharper lines and they all seem to flow together much nicer than the GS.

They both look like the Maxima. Here are more pics. This car is nice, much better than the RL Acura pooped up with.
